LightAct: Interactive Lighting Control System is a lighting control system designed specifically for interactive lighting. We recently received a conceptual presentation from them, which shows the possibilities LightAct is opening up in architectural lighting.
The concept features dynamic lighting of a high end shoe store that follows the visitor around the store. Besides using less energy it’s main advantage lies in creating a much more memorable experience for the user. LightAct is a DMX based system, which allows the user to interact with the lighting either by moving around the space, making sounds or similar. The system can use almost any video source (such as a standard security camera), standard light and PIR sensors as well as microphones.
