We received this project from Jason Bruges studio. It was commisioned by the Minister of Mobility & Public Works and the Minister of the Economy, as part of the Brussels Light Plan and unveiled at the SolstiS Light Festival in 2008.
More info from Jason Bruges Studio follows:
âWould you like that gift-wrapped?â The act of wrapping is an art form. For the SolstiS festival which followed part of la Petite Ceinture (inner ring road), Jason Bruges Studio created an interactive lighting installation at Dexia Tower at Place Rogier.
The structure was enveloped with the colours worn by the people of Brussels. The light ramp, a trompe l’oeil extension of the Dexia building facade, âpulledâ colours from individuals that pass in front of it, wrapping them onto itself and up the tower.
