On March 30th, the lighting studio Les Eclairagistes Associés, finalised the lighting of this 180,000 sq.m. shopping mall, a part of “Carré de Soie” a development which is devoted to shopping and leisure activities.

The elaboration of its lighting relied primarily on the powerful architectural gesture.

The architectural decision of having a claustra structure oriented from the building toward the avenue makes the mall a unique object, a hybrid of an organic and metal technology.

We proposed to bring it to light at night during the opening hours of the cinema.

As a result, at night, the architectural movements are enhanced by 16,000 pixels RVB, which are addressed point by point separately so as to allow chromatic programmes to be varied, changing, seasonal, and which of course will meet the commercial needs of the management.

This project meets with the criteria of environmentally friendly lighting and those of sustainable city lighting.
