Studio James Long sent us images of the project they completed in 2008 – Chelsea Hotel in New Jersey/USA.

A boutique hotel in Atlantic City, a first for New Jersey’s famous seaside boardwalk. This amenities driven facility features formal dining with it’s reference to the 1950’s rat pack era.

It also has two interior bars, one exterior 40’ square tented bar, casual exterior dining, full cabana service.

Working with developers and restaurant consultants, interior designers, architects, engineers and contractors the lighting design was a challenge to keep costs down without sacrificing esthetic.

This was accomplished with weekly meetings and consistent updates throughout the design process. The entire 5th floor area including exterior covers some 25,000 square feet and was 2 years in development.
