Mindseye, a Lighting Design practice from London, has sent us images of lighting design for Corpus Christi Roman catholic church in Brixton Hill / UK.

Here follows some info from Mindseye:

The brief was to reveal the impressive architecture and features of the Church and to give the church flexibility through different lighting scenes, whilst making use of energy efficient light sources.

Mindseye carefully analysed the different ways in which the building is used. The scheme provides a mix of useful working light levels for staff and congregation and additional accent lighting to enhance the building’s features.

The result is a striking scenic illumination of this early decorated Gothic building. Lighting scenes can be selected which emphasise the dramatic elements of the architecture for festivals and special occasions, as well as more practical scenes for the daily and weekly activities within the church.
