Propellor studio from Vancouver/Canada has sent us a project called DRAM. It is a chandelier made from 120 disused drinking glasses and tumblers.

The description by Propellor studio follows:

—

Dram is a light sculpture composed of 120 odd disused tumblers and drinking glasses salvaged from an earlier time. It is an hallucination of blurred contours, dissolving colours and the ghosts of a thousand intoxicated nights.

We have been collecting the vintage glasses for this series for the last four years. We find them one or two at a time in thrift stores, at garage sales and forgotten in the back cupboards of our friends and family.

It takes about a year to find enough glasses to complete a piece and each one is completely unique.
