Studio James Long sent us images of a project they completed in 2006 – Gilt Bar and Restaurant.
It is a small project in scale that features an illuminaited faceted shell behind a prominent bar.

Located in the Villard Houses at the New York Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue invites you with a sparkle of light and a whimsical touch of glass droplets affixed to each step.
In addition the grand interior features an oval bar with an illuminated faceted shell of light as in the dining room a prefabricated seating arrangement also houses a lighting system that sets the mood with a warm red glow.
