Studio IX sent us images of a project they designed the lighting for in 2009. It is the headquarters of I&U Bank in Sao Paulo/Brasil.

The Architecture was designed by LĂșcia Ravache Architecture, all the photos are by AndrĂ©s Otero  and Guinter Parschalk. More info about the project follows:

The concept of this Project was to create one sophisticated but clean architectural light solution integrated to the architecture.

On the work areas we use special âBarrisolâ fixtures with 6 T5 fluorescent lamps; 4 with 4.000 KÂș and 2 with 3.000 KÂș.; integrated with a Lutron control system, that change the light output and light temperature during the day.

On special client and meeting areas the architectural solutions in wood is illuminated by a mix of fluorescent, led and high performance halogen lamps.

Fluorescent lamps are used on âBarrisolâ ceiling and specific reception areas.

Halogen spots with UV filter enhanced the collection of art pieces and led, reinforce the vertical axis of the wood wall behind the principal reception desk.
