PSLAB has send us pictures of  luminaires they designed for Maison Thoumieux.
They had the opportunity to light the rooms and dining area of recently renovated boutique hotel in Paris, France. The products, which were designed and manufactured exclusively for the hotel spaces and restaurant, responded to the physical constraints of the site and integrated with it’s strong design style.
Their emphasis on this site was the relationship between the viewer and the light provided by the fixture thus creating a special mood. India Mahdavi’s choice of strongly hexagonal embossed wallpaper was the key constraint. To play with this feature they designed a circular wall mounted lamp with three curved layers contracting around the central light source.
The shape of the lamp houses the light behind a perforated steel sheet which reflects and diffuses the light, creating an intimate mood.
