This project by Jason Bruges Studio called Puppetrees can be seen at Place du Trône, Brussels. It was by unveiled at the SolstiS Light Festival in 2008 and was commissioned by Minister of Mobility & Public Works and the Minister of the Economy, as part of the Brussels Light Plan.

More detailed description by Jason Bruges Studio follows:
_________
One of two installations created for the SolstiS festival which followed a route along la Petite Ceinture (inner ring road). The multi-sensory dimensions of the city are used as the source material to create luminous and ever-changing display.

Trees made of light gently swaying to the rhythm of the sounds of the city. The rustle of virtual leaves reverberating in response to city sounds, captured by microphones: gently for conversations, faster-paced as the noise of traffic increased.
