The chandelier measures 3 meters in diameter, with a 2 meter drop. It is made of 150 hand blown clear glass spheres measuring 20cm in diameter each, hanging in canopy formation. Munro’s chandelier is lit with fibre optics powered by a DMX projector. The colour-changing light is projected down the optical fibres, and each fibre ends curled into a glass sphere. Each fibre is 1.5mm thick.

A circular stainless steel plate has been secured to the ceiling for added strength. A floating ceiling was specially made and installed, in order to make the chandelier fit in the recessed ceiling correctly.
