Cooper Industries (NYSE:CBE) announced the acquisition of Illumination Management Solutions, Inc. (IMS), designer and manufacturer LED systems and fixtures for a variety of lighting applications, a leader in specialized optics and system design for LED fixtures.
Cooper previously acquired io Lighting and UK-based Clarity Lighting. This latest acquisition was made in an ongoing effort by Cooper Industries to become a market leader in energy-efficient solid state lighting solutions.
